Trust the Pirates to lose last night so we don't get to honour #6 :).

Oh well:

PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still lurking!!!!!!!

Magic number for the Cards just shrunk, even if they lose...
They did lose and Pirates remain a game and a half back. Who wins the tiebreaker if it comes to that?

Wouldn't it be miserable to have to play a play-in game for the play-in game?

The Cardinals have been playing like they'd rather win the wildcard.

I really hope we can get it together against the D-Backs.

Yeah, I'm over the Jeter thing. He's been a great player...but he isn't the greatest to ever play the game but ESPN and other outlets would like you to believe he is.

Did you know Jeter plays his last home game tonight, would help if the media told us for the 501st time just so I'd remember .

HATERS !!!!

The Pirates are 17-4 since being swept by the Cardinals in early September. Crazy.

If the Cards can't take 2 in Arizona, they certainly don't deserve it. This would also mean that Pittsburgh has to sweep Cincinnati. Certainly possible but they're going to be getting the best of Johnny Cueto who will be vying for his first 20 win season on Sunday.
