So - are the Rams looking to run away from NFC West competition. If so add a couple offensive weapons early. Or do they have their sights on big boy NFC competition. In which case they have to stop the run, control the line and should beef up DL/ILB/OT early.

My view as well, this is why I don't rule out taking a a legit DT the top half of this draft.

There are a couple NT/DT that seem to be dropping like a rock lately. Seen some saying Deone Walker may drop to day 3 after the pre draft process.

I just want Kenneth Grant!
Imagine the D-Line with him and the others?
After meeting on top of Jalen Hurts for the 5th time...

My first mock had either him or Walker in the first. I think either would be amazing but with the Ford signing a rookie NT is going to get maybe 30% of snaps. Which is why I'm switching focus yo 6th round picks like Stackhouse or Hemingway.

Yeah I admit it's a bit far fetched now but..

In this draft it looks more likely that there will be better players on defense to choose from around pick 26. If they trade back into round two then it’s wide open.

100% my feelings as well. We'll have a a nice group of top talent to pick from and extra picks to round out this roster.

Nah...

I dont like the positional value at the top of the draft. Also, the CB is too skinny. I feel like we already have enough all-smurf team representatives in our secondary. We also need some guys who can play press-man and tackle in space, hello Philly and SF.

I get the idea of how great a potential all-Pro TE would be but spending more than a 3rd round pick on a TE is certifiably when you look at the affect of a TE on the game. Look at LaPorte and how much he helped in the playoffs? Yes, Kelsey is an outlier, but outliers shouldnt determine draft strategies.

I would rather we just draft a Offensive Tackle with our first pick.
