Can't really argue with that.
I know I would be okay with it if the tables were turned.
I wouldn't. I don't mind running up the score at all. I do mind putting key pieces of the team in harms way with the game out of hand. Yeah the score wasn't that out of hand, but with the Rams if the other team gets 2 TDs it feels like the game is over.

Nah - I get it. But if the game was still close, I'm guessing that hole wouldn't have been there or at least our guys wouldn't have just turned and run. I also think he would have been too chickenshit to try it with the game still on the line. It's not like we wouldn't expect that from Petey all things being equal. I just don't buy the excuse.

Well.....congrats to the Seahawks. It only took them 5 years and 100's of punts to recognize the opening.

meh who cares. It's one of those that if we did it to them in the same situation Squawk fans would be pitching a fit and calling us all kinds of names. Just like if it was TJ that hit Wussell on the sidelines like Goff was hit they'd be screaming bloody murder. But we all know according to a teams fans their players and coaches can do no wrong and everybody else is dirty scumbags out to cheat and hurt people.

Pete Carroll gives a bad name to the rest of us Peter's. (n)

If the Rams called that play I'd be wondering why they were putting Hekker at risk.

Pete Carroll was trying to prove that he could do to the Rams what the Rams did to the Seahawks in St. Louis when Johnny Hekker faked the punt and tossed it to Benny Cunningham for a 1st and 10.

I think he's still smarting from that and could not let it go.

Pretty stupid of him to do a fake punt as if to communicate to other playoff teams that the Seasquawks are the superior team and that they could execute fake punts to perfection.

When the score was 24-3, there's no sense to run up the score with the outcome already guaranteed. Too bad Ryan is in concussion protocol. In the long run, Pete Carroll is not doing his players any justice with his stupidity and arrogance.

No wonder Sherman was yelling at Carroll when they Seasquawks were at the 1-yard line and Carroll was calling a pass play. The man never learns.

I've got no problem with Carroll going for it. But I had to laugh at karma biting him in the ass. And I feel bad for the punter. He didn't deserve to pay for Carroll being a prick.

Is it that obvious? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Y'know - I never liked him clear back with the patsies. Then he gets the gig with USC and that just cemented that I would make the full switch to Ducks fan. I like USC but never made the commitment like I have with the Rams. With him at the helm, it just made my decision easy.

Pretty much where I am plus I felt it added a fuck you violent element to the last part of the game that really doesn't need to be there in an already highly physical and violent sport. But I suppose I'm :deadhorse:

Like I've said before put a skirt on the little bitch and let him run up and down the sideline.

I usually have no problems with teams running up the score ... don't like like it ? Then stop them

It was a bush league move by bubble gum Pete and got his punter laid out ... and then had the audacity to smirk and yuck it up congratulating his player while his guy was down in the dirt ..... Petey is an asshat

It was a lame move at that point in the game. Carroll is a douche for kicking the team while it's down. Ryan getting clocked seemed like Karma, but I would rather have seen our guy attack the ball and get it. He could have stripped it from Ryans weak grip.
