Sometimes it feels the Pats hate is stronger than the Rams love... I mean, I can understand why they're upset about the whole process (deflategate was ridiculous at pretty much all levels). Still, it's not a good look to publicly mock your employer.

Also, this site is enlightening: http://yourteamcheats.com/cheaters/

That site was created by a Cheatriots fan. And the Pats hate comes from the love of the Rams. They took a dynasty from us by cheating. Goodell burned the evidence. Can you blame us for hating the Cheatriots?

hey Patricia - well done on winning the Super Bowl. However, I have just this message to leave with you.

The site had promise until I saw he didn't mention the Patriots SB win against the Rams. You'd think with recent Faulk comments, he's at least address WHY he pretends it didn't happen. No. He just chooses to ignore it.

Don't waste your time reading this NE Patriot fan's website.

I know well enough about the history. I don't view it the same way. Was it cheating? Yeah. Did they beat us? yeah. Are we talking about the GOAT qb and the best coach of his era? Also yeah. I think there's a lot more rule-bending across sports (professional and amateur) than gets acknowledged, and it's easy when there's a loose thread to tug on it and tug on it. It was a rough one for a lot of reasons, but we had our opportunity to win the game, and we didn't. And that's almost all that matters.

I know that's not satisfying to a lot of people, and I'm not going to tell anyone what to feel. Just trying to get across that I don't feel at home in the (righteous or not) hate, and trying to offer a differing viewpoint. Wasn't aware who made the site, but I don't think that should disqualify it entirely (certainly, let's take it with a grain of salt, regardless of who created it). The point is that with winning as the goal, every team looks for every advantage they think they can get away with. Look at our former defensive coordinator (whose crime is much more egregious in my opinion). It's not a comfortable idea, but I think it's important to at least recognize that teams, and professionals in all walks of life, seek an upper-hand, and bend rules to their benefit if they think they can get away with it. It's not right, but it's not evil.

It's hard, and I felt and still understand the anger. I'm just of the opinion that we waste too much passion on something that gets us nowhere, and has started to feel stale and easy.

But. Patty-Ice shouldn't have worn that shirt.

With less people tuning in, we can only pray you're right. He's ruining the NFL.

How is he ruining the NFL?

I'm curious what your reply is because almost all of the things wrong with the NFL are not in Goodell's purview.

The owners and union are responsible for almost ALL of the changes we fans do not like..........

I HAVE ZERO CLUE WHY YOU GUYS ARE SAYING " STAY CLASSY" and the like!!!

Fuck that shit! Godell covered up their cheating asses to 2-3 SB's.

It's like that old saying " evil turns in on itself."

In this case 'cheaters turn in on themselves'.

Fuck them all, Karma is playing itself out right now.

Because he lies, helps cheat, covers up, is trying to eliminate the kickoff, caused more reviews by officials. There's no flow to the games.

You want to suspend a guy an entire year for smoking weed but only two games for beating his wife...? What!?

How many times can a player get caught with an unregistered weapon and not face a big suspension?

He's all over the place and complete inconsistent with everything he does. He's the commissioner and as the commissioner ALL of this falls on him.

They took a dynasty from us by cheating.

Nah. Martz couldn't draft to save his life. Adam Archuleta, Ryan Pickett, Tommy Polley, Robert Thomas, Travis Fisher, Lamar Gordon, Eric Crouch, Jimmy Kennedy, Pisa Tinoisamoa, Kevin Curtis and Alex Barron are not the players drafted in the making of a dynasty. The whole Martz/Shaw/Zygmunt drama... Plus Martz got his QB's killed. Not to mention hiring his buddy Marmie after Lovie left. Eeeck.

They cheated and it sucks we lost, but to act like we would be in their position if we had won in 2002... I disagree with. The GSoT was a firework show; amazing to watch, but not built to last long.

And while I dislike the Patriots organization as much as any other Rams fan, I think this shits hilarious. Goodell is a clown.

It doesn't seem like there are many, if any, posters on this site who doubt that the Patriots cheated in 2001. Good. I'm tired of people (especially shitbag Patriots fans) treating Faulk like a conspiracy theorist when he says that the Patriots cheated. Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, and Mike Martz have all implied (or stated) that they feel something fishy went down that day. They just decided to move on from it. But I don't blame Marshall bit for dwelling on it. Here are links showing all of those guys expressing doubts about that game:

And the best part is that the former cheater employees proved that they're willing to do it:

Steve Scarnecchia (son of longtime Patriots OL Coach Dante Scarnecchia) gets caught filming the 49ers walkthrough while working for Josh McDaniels. Guess whose video department Scarnecchia worked in from 2001 to 2004? You guys know the answer: the New England Patriots.

This seriously needs to be a copy a paste option for this site for this post when you just want to bring the cheater refferences to bare. It seems every few months or so we have this same conversation again.

Ps I was an avid 101 sports listener, especially the Fast Lane. wish I had access to all the 101 espn audios that have bits and clips of all those guys stating something happened and went on. There were some damn good info and knowledge from those guys that it doesn't seem made the news cycle.

So Karma is coming back from a 28-3 rout to wining the Super Bowl 34-28?
I suppose your not following the gist of the topic here.

The conversation wasn't about this last SB. It was about karma with Goodell letting them bitches do what they wanted their first 2-3 SB wins and now they are backlashing his ass since they can't do that anymore.

It's like a kid who has never been disciplined or told no and when it finally happens later in life it's the end of the world for the kid.

Maybe i am missing something, but its awfully difficult to see any karmic retribution towards the Patriots. Its not like they haven't won two Super Bowl titles since deflate gate... seems more like Goodell is getting the Karmic retribution

Yeah he's only made about $70 million since then. How rough he has it.

I'm more or less talking about between the old buddies Goodell and Kraft etc.

The best part about this whole thing with him is he wants to be a head coach. How many owners other than Kraft are going to like that he wore this shirt?
