Better title... "Looks like DJ Humphries is our primary backup LT."

Humphries is being paid like a backup option not as a guaranteed starter. And really, under $3 million is chump change these days in the NFL and doesn't guarantee anything. But I'm glad they have a veteran option since Alaric has proven to be a wildcard for availability his entire career.

Hope he is nothing more than a backup Left Tackle. At this point, I have my doubts.

I have my fingers crossed but I would not be shocked if Humphries doesn't start the season at tackle for us with Jackson starting on IR but my best guess - copeium? - is that he's out for TC and starts season.

This is not good at all. I'm not real big on DJ being a plus starter. Just hoping he can hold the fort down until Jackson comes back.

Meh. Seems right given the situation. A backup tackle who has a higher chance of being needed.

This article was really almost like "concern trolling" more than anything.
Whoever wrote it doesn't know anything about football management and certainly doesn't know anything about blood clots.
This article would have been more informative;

When I had my Renal Infarct (massive blood clot fully blocking the artery going into the right kidney), they gave me both and I was in the hospital for 11 days.

I learned more about Vitamin K than I ever wanted to know.
