Yeah I really don't care for calling someone a rapist when they were acquitted. Whether he paid someone off to go away or it was just a money grab from the victim. Both are equally possible outcomes.

And I don't like signing people with that kind of baggage on their character. Even a drunk driver would be preferable over someone accused of literally date-raping two girls who were barely of age, let alone able to give consent.

Ben Roethlisberger was acquitted as well, but I bet you never thought twice about thinking bad of him for that, right?
I pretty much agree with the comments in-bold above.

The exception ... and reason for my question ... is that you stated in your initial response ...
"HE'S A FUCKING CONVICTED RAPIST"

That's just not a factually accurate statement.
Fair enough. I misspoke, and I was wrong about the convicted part. But I truly believe that Cephus got away with criminal sexual assault based on what I've seen of the case.

Someone apparently doesn’t know what the word “convicted” means.
Btw, I agree with staying away from someone like that.

I AGREE!! It started though by Drafting Brian Allen an Under Sized Center/Guard !!

If you look back at My First Thread it was about WHIT(nessing) TEAM LEADERSHIP !! I was there & what I saw was actually amazing as a RAMS FAN & Where THE RAMS & Chargers are TODAY !!

I’m a realist though. The BIGGEST mistake & what makes The BRAIN ALLEN draft PICK so BAD ?? Is what it did to The RAMS ORGANIZATION!!!

YOU CAN CRY (Ram Fans),but I’m(wrong) try to tell it like it is.
This Point though I’m NOT!!

WHERE’S BONIFYD ??? He was ALWAYS my MAN !!!We went at it all the time.(hope he is alive)

JOHN SULLIVAN getting CUT !!! Now Mcvay (SNEAD) McSnead has Real ANAL-LICK-ITS!!! They are going to have to LICK there wounds.

If you want I can get into it & The RAMS HISTORY under Sean Mcvay. I know there are some that know certain things better than myself & correct me.

I’ll leave it at this though. YOU CAN’T say this 2024 SEASON that THE RAMS didn’t SPEND & this Offensive Line wasn’t built for success?? Then again maybe you CAN !! POOR SHELTON w/ Da Bears.

ACTUALLY I’d you did say THE RAMS didn’t & haven’t built this O’Line for success!!
Rams posters: Wtf did I help start?! :laugh1::laugh2::laugh3::laugh4:..... Dammit So Ram, you keep being you haha

Alaric Jackson played well yesterday. I wonder if he can actually be the new Noteboom (give him a decent contract with some team friendly outs).

Kind of like me and how I feel about Georgia.

I can handle that.

If he locks that spot down, he's going to get a big contract next year. They'll be a ton of competition to sign him. There will bo no team friendly deal unfortunately.
Not team friendly in terms of aav or anything but I'm terms of having an out after a couple of years of it turns out he isn't the guy.

I guess it's possible, maybe because of the suspension, but my guess is if he keeps going at this pace he's going to get a contract that secures his future for a good 4 years. To be honest I hope that's with the Rams because I'd hate to depend on a rookie to protect Stafford.

Agreed! I think pff did he gave up one sack last year? I'll take it.

Jackson has been very solid at LT and far better than any other option the Rams have currently. My concern with Jackson and he missed a game for personal reasons and then his suspension. If you are the starting LT, we need to depend on you to be available when you are healthy and these other circumstances cannot keep coming up if they are going to extend him.

Yeah I really hope it was a lesson learned. I guess if the Rams decid to extend him then it wasn't that bad. Since they know the details. But man, I was mad at him after the first two games. Glad he's back though lol.

your 100% right den, the FO must decide if the reason for the suspension is something that might give them concern that it could happen again. Hopefully what ever they decide it's the right decision.

Bruss started out that SF game pretty rough but recovered nicely. Also both him and Limmer having similar numbers fucks with my eyes at times and causes me to mix them up.

The Rams need to lock up AJ. Worst-case scenario with him, imo.. is you move him to RT.. but he seems like a starting LT to me. Not dominant, so he won't break the bank in FA.. but he'll get paid.
Sign him.. run with Havenstein on his last year of his contract and draft another tackle. Bummer is they don't have a second rounder.. maybe they'll trade back in the first to get more.

Or not.. they get an extra third for Raheem.

Fuck that. I don't trust AJ. I would tag his ass next year just in case, to ensure I have a starter. Then I would move heaven and earth to get up in the draft and take a young stud OT.

Find that LT and then we'll be looking real nice with QB, Edge, and LT filled of the classic cornerstone roles. And they still might be able to get lucky on the Corner thereafter, assuming we have some picks left in rounds 2-4.
