Here's what Bonifay PM'ed me..

With the second round selection #40 pick the Giants select DT Carl Davis, 6-2 320 Iowa.

The Giants need to rebuild that once great defensive front four. Current starting DT Mike Patterson will be 32 yrs old and was only able to start 8 games last season. The Giants have nobody in talent sitting on the bench. I would look for Carl Davis to start as a rookie next to 2013 's 2nd rd. pick DT Johnathan Hankins

I watched Carl Davis DT/NT in the senior bowl really show that he could be a great steal in the second round. All Senior Bowl week long we heard the surprise about the play of Davis very similar to what we heard with the Rams DT Aaron Donald. The Giants thus have selected a OL & DL with their first two picks....just what the doctor ordered to improve this declining old team.

This is a great pick. He was on my board as well. DT is not high on my list of Ram needs but I would have had to think long and hard if he was still there at my pick at 49. Great rotation with AD and the Brock.

Atlanta Falcons, eager to upgrade that stale defensive front, are happy to take a shot at a young and emerging player:

th

Danielle Hunter, DE LSU

A bit green, he's a freakish athlete though and is still growing into his frame. Think Ezekiel Ansah at a steep discount. Championship!

Have at you @AngryRam

Thanks @albefree69. Gotta admit though, missing out on Cann was a bummer. Best OG in the draft in my opinion.

Tomlinson is a smart guy. He reads defenses well and will be very coachable. Bou should love him..

Tomlinson is a bit of a project but has a nice ceiling and by all accounts will work hard at his craft.

Bonifay is an astute judge of talent but doesn't toot his own horn much. Same with you my friend. Glad to have guys like you and others around that can discuss rather than sit up on their Joel Buschbaum throne.

If anyone feels like moving down to 51 anytime soon let me know.

It's a while until my pick and I'm not confident my guy will be there. I have a few backup plans so it's OK, just would love my guy.

Hey Ramrocket great pick, I like him because he his real bright. Our OL coach demands that his Ol'ers have working brains along with versatility & size. laken would be a great fit in there with Rodger Saffold who is also very bright.

Your first slection of ORT/OLG/ORG also fits our needs. While Flowers has some same issues that Barksdale, he sure looks like he has the ability to play 3 positions that versatility that Bou demands. Flowers may not be starting material at first very much like Greg Robinson did but in this fantasy mock Saffold could take up the ORT post with both your first two picks starting @ OG. In your mock draft you finally attack the weakest unit of this Rams team in injecting quality talent & youth that has been missing for a long long long time.

Well Done!
