I am admitting I was wrong about Jared Cook.
The ironic thing is, he was Fisher’s guy, and Fisher did not have the offense to use him properly.
I don’t know why Green Bay let him go - may have been a money thing. They are notoriously cheap.
He’s a good player.

Why? He's still the same guy he'll make some big plays and have a good game or two. Then he'll lose you games because he drops an easy pass on a 3rd down in the 4th quarter. Then he'll follow that up with missing a block in the run game or having a false start. He is what he is a guy with some highs and a lot of lows.

He actually played pretty good for the Rams imo. He just got into a fight with Austin Davis and then everybody hated him and I think made it seem like he was worse than he actually was.
 
He is what he is. The talent to make some excellent plays and have some good games, but with some internal flaw - concentration, motivation, or whatever - so he ends up making crucial mistakes at other times. Not a guy to sign to a big contract, but could make sense properly paid and used.

It’s been long enough now— rewatching that dumbass Jared Cook play made me laugh out loud.

I would NOT want Cookie back. I remember in the Pack-Boys playoff game— Cook made plenty of bonehead mistakes before that big sideline catch.

I just badmouthed him to death, and he just looks different to me - I’ve watched every Raider game this year.

And btw, I didn’t think he was all that with the Packers, one great catch notwithstanding.

I am glad to see my previous opinion validated. :cheers:

we didn't know any better. none of us probably watched a titans game in our lives when he was on that team. then when we get to watch him every week you find out who he really is. and it wasn't pretty.

Oh good grief man eating crow over Jared COOK? Unnecessary. Selfish player who will always be a guy you can't count on. Splash plays don't make up for lack of consistency.
