Obviously we didn't draft a swing tackle in the draft.
Noteboom is a free agent, knows the system, and can play both tackle spots, as well as at guard in a pinch.
His only problem, which is a big one, has been staying healthy, but he can play decently.
If he would sign for cheap, would you bring him back?
I'd trust him a lot more than an undrafted guy to back up both spots.
Mclendon can only play RT, and even that is a question mark.

Explore all avenues, including street FAs, cuts now that draft is over but also possibly bringing back Noteboom.

It was always a possibility. LET'S MAKE IT A REALITY!

It actually makes the most sense. He plays multiple positions and knows the offense. I know we are all disappointed he didn't work out as a starter and hate the constant injuries, but that would be factored in for the contract at this point. He also seems to be well liked in the locker room. Maybe there's a better alternative, but I can't think of one until next year's draft.

We’re paying him 10 mill to not be on the team. I’d be fine with increasing that to 15 mill. for him to be on someone else’s IR
Okay, but then who would you sign to play swing tackle for cheap?
Trusting an UDFA would be insanity.

Les' NFL player trackers ought to unearth some veteran castoffs, even solid guys cut to save their former teams' money, to man the swing tackle role. Boom has overstayed his welcome stressing his teammates, coaches, and fans out with his glass body.

Rams will still need to sign a veteran OT, because going into the season with McClendon as the top swing OT would be criminal malpractice.

Here's a link to available free agent OT's as of a couple days ago.
