While I appreciate a well executed offensive play as much as the next fan, I love watching hard hits by the defense the most.

Best hit I've ever seen was from Toby Wright.
Playing the Saints I believe. A player kneeled down on a kick off return. The problem was that the saints return man downed the ball on the field, not the end zone. Wright slowed at first, then realized the poor guy was in bounds and quickly put his pads down, went straight at him and leveled him.

Never seen anything like it before or since.

Was that the same game we failed to cover up the kickoff in the endzone and the opposing team came down and grabbed it for a TD?

Whoever put that Wocka Flocka song in the last video needs to be euthanized.

I had Phys Ed class with T.Wright in high school. Damn injuries did him in. He was a beast.

I can't remember. It had to be almost 20 years ago.
I'll never forget that hit though.

@mojo.
Yeah. Toby hurt himself as much as the other team.
NFL kamikaze.
He sure was fun to watch.

In more recent times, guys like Ray Lewis, Bob Sanders, Sean Taylor and Roy Williams stand out to me...But they don't hit like they used to.
