What Will the NFL/NFL Teams NOT Forgive?

NFL discipline AND Team discipline. Yes, the NFL can impose penalties, up to including expulsion from the NFL.
A team can expel a player who disrupts the locker room, as well as suspending players for things that happen outside the building. Walking out on the team during a game will get you fired from a team, but it's also not likely any other team will hire the guy because he's a cancer. Same thing with Kaepernick and the kneeling stuff where he was let go/end of contract (whatevs) and no other team would hire him in any real way because of the baggage that came with him. In Both cases, the players were affected NFL wide and not from the league office.
My point is...

Walking out is a move *against the team and your teammates*.

The other things are individual choices/decisions that happen outside of the building and outside of the construct of the team.

They are completely different categories of behaviors/actions, imo.

Id hate to say it but if you're an elite talent professional sports will pretty much let you get away with anything once.

I'll point you in the direction of Shohei Ohtani

There has been all kinds of players who went on STRIKE (Holdouts). Is that the same thing ? Your under contract & you miss games.

The players themselves certainly don’t see it that way. The unwritten rule is “don’t talk about another man’s money”. Everyone knew Donald’s worth. Hell Chris Long knew it during AD’s rookie year.

I don’t see it that way either. Teams can cut players before the “agreed upon” contract is up, or screw them out of incentives. But generally, fans don’t seem to mind that.

his poll, his list. create your own poll with these rules if you're so passionate about them.

It is what it is.I’m not saying talking about players money as much as the effect holding out does.

As far as AD99 goes, didn’t really matter ? He wasn’t going to play in the preseason.Still I will say it did have a little effect just because he really wasn’t football ready that one season.Didn’t (couldn’t) play the full game. His rhythm with the defense wasn’t TOP NOTCH!! If I recall right.I’m not the biggest numbers guy,but I do remember some what of how I felt about it as a RAMS FAN.Had a open mind & let’s see.

Everyone on this forum has there own point of view.I respect that.I like giving certain posters more time(crap) than others.Hold them somewhat accountable or dig deeper on there thoughts. Then again just to release my opinion on things.

Mine will always be about going to training camp & watching year to year.I still have the same thoughts even back in St.Louis.There were some great posters.
I started on NFL network.Then they shut down.Then Stl Today.Posted to Nick,JT,Bernie & a few more ??

I miss a couple old posters from here.Bonifyram is a. Certain poster I loved to debate with.Going back to my first post here was sort of cool.

Just to think it was under Mcvay & going to a stadium in Carson(next to CSUDominguz .No one knew what Jared Goff would become as a QB He was 0-7 going into 2017.

Loyal was (is) excellent back in the day. Niner hater Steve was a bigger poster back then.

You walk out on your team in the NFL, consider yourself retired

Here is my opinion on it, this was a bitch move by a player who just quit on his team. You always fight with your brothers until the bitter end, Cambell just lost some respect from teammates and fans. This makes winning even better when you see it really gets to them. "I love to make them cry".

Sure. But it’s also a discussion board where people leave comments.
Those are my comments.
Yes and everyone is so impressed. Great job.

You made your comments repeatedly proclaiming how wrong his poll is. Why did you do this in the first place, and if you do, why harp on it incessantly? btw, his poll isn't wrong.

Honestly, only the players can answer this. I've listened to multiple interviews today and the interviews on the other topics as they happened. They hate all of them. I wish you would have put an all of the above option. ROCK CHALK, JAYHAWK
M-I-Z! F-K-U!

We beat your ass in basketball, @Loyal , and we're gonna beat your ass in football next year, too!

Hey @Loyal! It sounds like So Ram is calling you out!

Thinks you may have lost a little off your fastball.

You going to take that?
Yeah - sure .. he just doesn’t post as much as he used to?? From what is my take.Reflection is interesting & depends on where your stand. You can see things in SO many ways,if you look right.

NFL teams will forgive a lot as long as they think it won't lose them the locker room and the player can help them win games.
