Sorry the Raiders are where they are because of their drafting the last 3 or 4 years especially Carr, Cooper and Mack along with their OLine and DLine. We all know it doesn't always work signing big money in free agency. But it seems we should trade all our picks away and just sign free agents to build a winner.

Being the youngest team in the league sure hasn't worked. I thought a couple of years ago that it would work out to be the beginnings of a dynasty birth. How off was that? Ouch! FA moves are now a must. We shouldn't think we can find more than two starters from the upcoming draft. Even finding two would probably be a great job so starters in FA are a must in 2017.

It's a combination, Penn, Hudson, Crabtree & Sean Smith all free agents to post a few.

Sorry if they don't have Carr and Mack they're 4-12 and Hudson is a great center on a bad team. Your comments make it sound like it's obvious to build a winner you buy players. Usually it works that you draft well and enhance those players with some quality free agents. Otherwise you end up like the Jaguars who spent as much in free agency as Oakland.

Well, both teams the Giants & Raiders improved their team dramitically through free agency, now you're right it takes more a combination, but let's be honest you need to draft and be shrewd and make good investments in young talent in free agency. You just don't stop trying because you keep missing. BTW, Penn, Hudson, Sean Smith & Crabtree really helped the Raiders with Penn & Hudson being all pros.

Now I feel the Rams got scared because they whiffed on guys like Wells & Jake Long. This is where I feel Les Snead has failed the Rams in pro player personnel.
 
Any bets the Packers go into halftime leading 7-6?
