Seattle is still Top dog but now 2nd place is up for grabs" the niners run for the title is over! they are collapsing right before everyones eyes" HC Harbaugh is gone, so is DC Vangio, LB P.Willis is retiring and his replacement Borland, DE J.Smith may retire as well (fingers crossed) F.Gore is gone, OL Iupati as well" owner J.York is in way over his head, bayarea niner fans are besides themselves.

I see them in last place in the NFC west and the time to strike is now!! Seattle is bound to hit the wall being in so many tough games and playing in so many post season games, bound to take its toll.

If the Rams are going to ever stake their claim in the NFC west again, the TIME IS NOW!!! No more B.S., No Excuses, No Mediocrity, play one freaking season all out without injuries and bonehead plays and bring it all together, can Fisher still coach a team to win a playoff game again? can he bring the talent on this team together and perform up to their draft picks status?

If they can maybe just maybe the Rams can win the NFC WEST" , living in the bayarea i for one would love to see them in Santa clara for the Superbowl!! right in the 4t-whiners home field.

I know i may be dreaming but maybe just maybe the Rams can bring it all together for one season" and finally turn the corner, Ram fans DESERVE IT! hell I deserve it.

Whiners have not been a factor ever since finishing out the year 1-5 to limp to their 8-8 record, so nothing on that front has changed. It's still about Seattle and Arizona. Instead of succumbing to the Super Bowl hangover, the Seahawks held it together better than I expected to get there again. But giving away a championship on a bonehead play call really takes a chink out of their armor of invincibility. I never thought of the Cards as superior, they had a really lucky run for half a season but that's it. They are very similar to the Rams, both teams' seasons are going to ride on their QB fortunes. The settled QB situation is all that sets Seattle apart, if the Rams get stability from Foles then I agree it's wide open.

Are we forgetting the cardinals? Lol 11-5 last year

Always forget about those damn Cards. Never even consider them when thinking about who will win the division but they seem to sneak into the conversation. Hopefully we play them early in the year and beat them soundly so they can be forgotten again.....

Worst part is it seems they're the front runners for Peterson. Hopefully he kills their cap and hits that decline though

Agree with most of you. The hawks will finally take a step back this coming season, even though everyone is saying they have gotten stronger with their TE acquisition. Truth is though, they cannot do it for 3 seasons in a row. Something has got to give, and they will be 9-7 or 10-6. Finally! Geez!

Tell that to our Offensive Line

I don't agree that Jimmy will help them out much against us. He'll have to stay in and block most of the time. The rest of the time he'll be dominated by TJ.

Yep, not scared of Jimmy Graham one bit. Especially with the hobbit running for his life.

i think maybe wilson has used up his luck. it still sickens me how his 2 point conversion attempt throw against the packers somehow made it onto the hands of a seagull receiver. a couple of lucky throws in the superbowl as well. but when it was crunch time with the game on the line a simple throw was too much for him. hopefully alot of those lucky throws will now result in the interceptions they should have been all along.

.

I think this season dictates Fisher's future with the team

It really is. ESPN has us at 20 and SEA at #1. They love our D but it's our O they are clearly not giving us any benefit on. So if the O comes to life, I think it will, we will accend to the top! This is our year.

I'm not sold completely on anything yet... Other than San Fran has taken a nose dive

Here's what concerns me:

1. Offensive line talent and cohesion.
2. New QB processing new system and receivers.
3. Injuries derail seasons and the Rams are perennially snake bitten in this regard.

Heck, '99 could happen again but I've claimed that for far too many offseasons now.

Do I share this thread's hopeful sentiment? Absolutely!

Will I trust it will happen??????

Hey Lucy, do you swear you will let me kick the ball this time? Really???

I'm a Bay Area Rams fan as well so I totally get you. Every time I turn on the local sports radio and hear the misery expressed by the Whiner fans I laugh my ass off. Pure comedy. Couldn't make up a worse off season for them.

Welcome to the board!
