A quick start is crucial for Detroit to have a chance here. Lets see how the whiners respond. They typically get off to a good start on offense with Shanahan scripting the plays for the early part of the game. If the Lions can take away the short stuff or at least tackle before they get more yards after catch, they can slow down that offense.
