Definitely looks like it's more like the book, which I loved. King's "The Bachman Books" was some pretty crazy stuff. It's basically Stephen King writing Black Mirror episodes. I believe they are making movie out of one of the other novels, "The Long Walk"
Come to think of it, IIRC, Running Man took place in 2025
The Arnold version was awesome but nothing like the book really
