So I have Aaron Rodgers and Andy Dalton.

Do y'all think this is gonna be a shoot-out and Rodgers will rack up more yardage and TDs than Dalton who's going against a defense in Tampa that gives up THE most fantasy points to opposing QBs in the NFL right now? I hate to play a guy against the Rams, but something tells me this is gonna be a duplicate of the Rams/Vikings game in terms of points.

P.S. I should mention, also, that I have A.J. Green too.

As long as Pick Sixes don't count, do Rodgers...

I recommend Rodgers. His knee should be feeling the best it’s felt since the injury after this bye week. The Packers defense is awful this year so they are going to have to be throwing if they want to catch us.

Goff has killed me all year.
Keeps completing passes where receivers get tackled inside the 5 which results in a Gurley TD run.

Same whenever Goff is on my bench he lights it up (Vikings, Chargers). When he's my starter he has mostly average fantasy games. Hope that trend chnages this week.

As for the Dalton/ Rodgers question. I like Daltons matchup obviously. But A-Rod usually is the safer bet no doubt. Dalton has the higher ceiling this week but he also has the lowest floor, because he's Andy Dalton.

My rule of thumb is i never play a player on my fantasy team against the Rams. I feel its bad luck. How can i want my qb which is Cousins to go off when i know that probably means my team is gonna lose. So i sit them and hope for the best. I will take a loss in fantasy any week if it means the Rams win.

You have to Apply the Andy Dalton Rule in this situation.

The rule says if you are considering starting Andy Dalton over a future Hall of Fame QB then you may be suffering from severe lack of sleep or smoked way more weed then you realized.

Lie down and take a nap. After you
sober up it will make complete
sense what to do here.

Rodgers doesn't know he's about to walk into hell Sunday. HELL I TELL YOU HELL!

GO WITH DALTON...WITHOUT A DOUBT!

My theory in fantasy with these situations is, when push comes to shove, go with the guy that's easier to root for

Rodgers is more consistent and rams haven't proven they can shut down the pass with any consistency

Nearly all the rankings I've seen have Rodgers #2... with Dalton ranging from #5-#11ish

Dalton

It’s one of the reasons I struggle playing fantasy football... how to root for the Rams, but also hope Rodgers does well?

I can’t do it.

Rams 41
Packers 37

Odds arent that crazy unrealistic.

In the above case its a win/win

I try to never pick a QB RB WR against the Rams. And if they do well it impacts the outcome of the game. It’s a conflict of interest for me to pull for the Rams but also pulling for opposing players. I don’t enjoy the game as much.

@X Dalton. No McCoy today. Dalton should feast.

Oh, for shame! The ONLY circumstances to even CONSIDER starting a player against the rams is

If you have a time machine and went back to 2014

A cherished family member or VERY CLOSE friend requests it on their death bed. Even then, notice I said CONSIDER

or, all your alternatives are just horrible horrible matchups and its the playoffs.

In this instance, Dalton is a fine alternative that allows you to keep your integrity and still have access to the ram realm in heaven--and do you really want deacon jones trying to head slap you thru the fence?

The bucs secondary is one of the worst in the league and I think we may hobble rodgers a bit after a few sacks.

I have both AJ Green and their TE and I am expecting big things from them
