Very smart game planning by Pitt. They were glad to get called for a couple of defensive holding calls that Carry’s a whopping 5 yard penalty than give up chunk plays…A Patriot type move…and it worked.

Good Defenses teach the DBs to get hands on WRs hips and impede their progress without making it seem like you are impeding the WR progress. Refs will simply not call this all game long. It will fluster the WR's and can shut down even the best passing games.

The way we teach our DB's is to play off the WR and just don't get beat deep.

It's night and day. One makes bad QB's look good, the other makes good QB's look bad.

Puka was the best offensive player on the field for either team today..

LOVE that they got it to him on the move more than sitting down.
