And Larry Marmie as defensive coordinator!!

Oh, wait a minute....

So will this league do any good?

With those names ... I'd have to go for the fleet as well... but I have only so much love to give ... and it's all taken up with the Rams ... and my local AFL team.

... then there's the wife and kids I suppose ..

I was already loving the Fleet name and Logo, but seeing the ties to the Rams SB era, I'm In.

Orlando Apollos Baby

Not happy with our HC selection (The Ol' Ball Coach... aka Spurrier. I hate the gators) though.

The Fleet logo almost looks like the Virginia Destroyers' one of the now defunct UFL.

Thanks for the championship, Marty Schottenheimer. Too bad the league was run poorly and ripped him and pretty much everyone else off.

Count me in, and good luck to the AAF.

Orlando's name is annoying in my honest opinion. Apollo was a god. A singular god. As in one. It should be the Orlando Apollo, not 'Apollos."

It is Apollos for 2 reasons. The first is because it’s FL so god of the sun makes sense. The second reason is the Apollo moon missions because of the Kennedy Space Center.

It could be plural because there were multiple Apollo missions.

I think it is safe to say the Birmingham Iron have clearly won the Uniform battle. The Fleet may have made it closer without the spilled Mustard colored Socks UGH!

Nice. How about the Orlando Thunder, San Antonio Riders, and Birmingham Fire.
Looks like Dre Bly is bailing on the Fleet for UNC.

Yeah, the plural there is kind of off, especially considering the other teams who opted to not include an (s)
Still, I don't hate it
I do hate the Arizona "Hot Shots". I mean come on, they couldn't come up with something better than that? Hot shots? Sounds like a 3rd grade flag football team.
And weak sauce on Atlanta too IMO, Legends isn't terrible, but no character whatsoever. So who exactly are these legends from Atlanta?

Everyone is just happy they aren't the Arizona Hotshots. Those jerseys are atrocious!

Haze grey and underway baby... I don't have any choice but to root for the FLEET lol.

I do think the Birmingham Iron has the most inspired name though. Iron is just badass for football, well done there.

Really wish they would have steered clear of the big cities like Atlanta. Give the others a chance to have a team, you know? But it's all good, I'll tune in for the hell of it and hope they have a decent product.
