Next month is my birthday and after some research, we have decided to go to https://texasdebrazil.com/

I've never been there but have heard awesome things over the years.

Has anyone in the St.Louis area ever been here?

I've been to the one here in Orlando. It was very cool and would be a great place for a b-day dinner.

Lots of different foods (meat). Plus... all you can eat.

Outstanding choice! One of my favorites!

You will get trained to turn over "your card" to green... which means bring more meat. Red side of card means "your good".

For your birthday, leave that card on green the whole dinner and enjoy the meat sweats! :D

I'm envious, Juggs. Sounds like you'll have a great time. Save some meat for Winston!

Another set of tips, wear a belt that can be loosened, pants with an elastic waist band, and pants where you can unbutton the top button. No shame... :laugh4::zany1:

I love Brazilian steakhouses. I took my wife to one here for her birthday back in August.

As others have said, skip the chicken. It's not that it's bad, it's just not special and there are so many other cuts that are so much better.

Also, don't be fooled by the salad bar. It's there to fill you up on the high margin items. You go to a Brazilian Steakhouse for the meats.

Man, the Picanha, Bacon Wrapped filet mignon, bbq pork ribs and the Brazilian sausage look AMAZING!

My experience is that they overcook the ribs and that is at both the one here and the ultra expensive one I went to in NYC. My wife liked the sausage - no sophomore comments needed :laugh4:
The bacon wrapped filets were pretty damn good. The flank steak was amazing. The beef is all prime - or should be - so it is really tender and has great flavor.

I go mainly for beef and lamb. Brazilians really know their beef and lamb and the one here in Reno is owned and operated by almost exclusively one Brazilian family.

Oh man, does that include lobster tails?

Texas de Brazil is dope. It's a straight up meat rave.. OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ! COME ON PARTY PEOPLLLLLE!!!!

Try the picanha for sure. As you enjoy that tasty slice of meat heaven, just know it's still not as good as Rynie's smoked picanha. Ha! Jk.

Enjoy. TDB is awesome.

Juse got back home from the dinner. It was great. I tried everything....the pichana(spelling) was far an away my favorite followed by the flank and then the lamb.

I polished off quite a bit of that fancy ham/bacon stuff that starts with a P.

Terrific. For the price tho, the dessert should have been included. Imo

Great overall
