Move over Rams, Ravens are the NFL's most complete team

- Joe Flacco is on pace to throw for 5,000 yards. The defense has yet to given up a touchdown in the second half. And Justin Tucker is the most accurate kicker in NFL history.

The best team in the NFL right now? The consensus is the Los Angeles Rams, who sit atop most power rankings. But the most complete team in the NFL? That title currently goes to the Baltimore Ravens, and the numbers back this up. The Ravens are the only team to rank in the top 10 in offense, defense and special teams efficiency, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

"The most balanced teams in this league usually have more success and have a chance to win late in the season, so that's where we're trying to be," safety Eric Weddle said............................

.........................................................................................................The undefeated Rams (4-0) rank in the top 10 in offense and defense, but they're having troubles replacing injured kicker Greg Zuerlein, and their defensive ranking seems inflated. Los Angeles' yards per play allowed is 22nd in the NFL..........................

They're a fine team, so it's possible and the article isn't out of left field or anything to my eye at least. Lot of ball to go, though, so for now I am confident in our chances of being that team still.

Baltimore is a great defense and a very good special teams. With the improved WR room and Flacco playing like he is they're a damned good team that I wouldn't want to play against.

Baltimore is off to a good start. It's still early.

They haven't been able to run the ball at all, Rams have a big edge on offense. I'll give them special teams, their kicking game is as good as it gets.

I know Colin Cowheard likes the Ravens a lot...and there's some buzz about them.
But I've watched them a couple of times this season, and I'm not impressed.

They are "good" (as are a few other teams)...but I don't see them anywhere near the class that the Rams are in.
They sort of "piece together" their victories...like there's not really a game plan.
They have a great kicker, and the defense is decent...but they're not overly impressive.
They did shut down the Steelers in the 2nd half...but that was mostly on the Steelers.
Color me unimpressed.

Any team with Joe Flaccid at the helm would prohibit me from calling them "the most complete".

The guy's a heartbreaker... ask BALT fans.

One bad game and theyll call for the rook ..most complete team ? my hairy English arse

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
“Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore—
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!”
Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

I hope people start underestimating us!

Flacco' must be in a contract year.
They have looked good ak fsr and their defense has played very well.

No way they are more compete than our team. I dknt trust Flacco who has been horrible since the superbowl win. I dont know any of their recievers , anyone can score on Pitt and buffalo.

Take it with a grain of salt. This guy is a Ravens beat writer and has been for at least the last 15 years, between ESPN and the Baltimore Sun.

I get a kick out of GMFB. On Monday, they gush over the Rams about how unstoppable they are. By Weds, they ignore the Rams for a while, and they gush about Mahomes and the Chiefs, By Thurs, it's move aside Rams and the Chiefs, your "Daddy" Tom Brady is getting back Edelman and that the Patriots are the original great offense. Move aside, pretenders.

Come Monday, rinse and repeat. "The Rams are unstoppable..."
