@Kupped @Merlin remember also last year Evans was starting at RG and Corbett at C all through the off-season and like a week or two before game 1 we put Allen in at center. So maybe Bruss makes a big push late but either way I'm not concerned, Carberry seems like a beast and will coach em up.
Great perspective

Tutu is a good hands-catcher.
I’m not surprised by that stuff.. he was a real WR in college.
I just think the idea of him being a return guy is I’ll-founded.. and he better learn to get down and avoid contact.

Bubba and I have made it. First thing we see is #23 Williams fielding punts with Powell. No indication of any foot injury
Who has a foot injury? Powell, Williams, Bubba or you?

Yea for sure there's no reason to put him back on returns when we have Powell who was great last year. I mean Tutu hardly ever returned at Louisville not sure why people assumed he would in the NFL.

So your saying in the preseason your not seeing Atwell return punts?IMO he might not only because Van Jefferson is hurt.

I agree I would keep Tutu off punt returns, let Powell & RB Raymond Calais handle those duties during preseason and let Tutu focus on being a receiver.

He could get hit like that on the sidelines. His toughness is in question, due to his size. We have to see him get hit and continue to perform, which there is no way to prove until real games.
Just send him deep every time he is in the game.

My thoughts on Coleman Shelton have been expressed many times over this past year. He just stood out when he was in the lineup due to his ability to get out & hit his target :bullseye:better than any of the starting 5 OL'ers. If you review my past posts I always try to make the point this CS can play any of the OL posts. Brillant!

Being the smallest Ram OLer just might be a big plus that will allow him to maneuver the DL'ers & get to those non-DL'ers coming in to make a hit on our RB's. All Pro OG Tom Mack was only 6-3 250lbs back in the 70's.... Mack was selected to 11 Pro Bowls.

I have been a "Dick" about this for over a year now.

In my opinion Skyler Carlin, Kenneth Arthur and, especially Bret Stuter are simply not worth reading. At least not as sports journalists. Their Rams' and NFL knowledge is no better than any average poster on this Forum. And, since they need to generate material, they throw anything and everything out there.

"Armchair QB's". I'll throw in Jake Ellenbogen with them. Jake does do his homework, I'll give him that.

100% they’re aggregate ”writers” who just try to generate clicks.

Hate all that shit.
I read Jourdan and a few other of the regular actual writers... that other shit is worthless. Agree, 100%.. you get much more from this forum than from those guys.

I don't disagree. But I think if Bruss had learned the scheme quickly and been fully up to speed the chances this would be in question are very low. So I imagine that had something to do with it.

We'll know more this weekend though. If Bruss gets a good look it means they want to work him and coach him up. And that's fine. Even with that it doesn't mean he won't start by midseason.
Meh. We all thought Corbett would be the starter at center during training camp last year.

Aside from that, it's not like he was a first round pick. If he doesn't start, it very well could be because Shelton is a vet and simply ahead of Bruss at this point.
