A 1st round RB? That would not make me happy. Taylor at 97 would be a huge steal
38 is 2nd rd. and Omarion would be to this offense similar to how Gurley was.

Buckle up because a few years back we tried to trade up for Jahmir Gibbs, it's a real possibility.

Never say never but I don’t think there’s any way McVay uses his 1st pick on an RB.
I don’t doubt they’ll draft an rb at some point, I think they pick one almost every year.
I don’t remember that the Rams wanted Gibbs, I know several posters (myself included) liked him. Still, they didn’t have a 1,200 yard rusher, 15+ td Scorer on the team then either

I would love this draft. The WR position would have fresh life.

Sign me up but Saints ain’t giving that many picks up.
The value is actually higher on our side of the ledger per the trade value chart but I think you're right, that's a lot of picks to give up.

With the talk of extending Kyren? Unless that's bogus, I can't see any chance of us taking a back that high. Now if we were not intending to resign him, then yes.

Don’t get me wrong Kyren is good back and if they resign him this significantly reduces chances of them taking a back high which I whole heartedly agree.

That said Kyren is a good back, he’s not a transcendent back, the ones these win you a close playoff game. Omarion has Gurley like abilities, is a dual threat, three down back who in this scenario got picked up after a trade down adding value to round out the roster. In a scenario like that I could see that happening for sure. Especially as no extension has happened as of yet.

Yeah can't see them doing that with being in cap hell like they are. They need all the rookies they can get.

I'm not disappointed in my draft abilities. Now everything else is questionable.

I usually just play around with 1st three rounds until closer to the draft but this looked reasonable from PFF board:

1st: AZ Thomas
3rd: Harold Fannin
3rd: Troy Horton

In this scenario: Golden, McMillian, Ebuka, Loveland and Warren are all gone, Rams go with best player at position of need without reaching for a WR and no trade down scenario materializes

- Not sure Fannin makes it that far though

Not sure about PFN's board but finally starting to play with the idea of a QB early.
