Is it ever too early? Yes, but now is not that time.

I did this one yesterday, worked out well with trade downs. I have since watched Greg Cosell's video on Howard. While he likes him, he dud say the knock on him us an avg arm as scouts who he knows say the ball does not come out of his hand the way you want to see from am NFL QB. In other wirds not an impressive arm.

BTW, He likes Dart... says what some here have said. Tough, competitive, leader, great kid. Says that he may not be ready now, but he could be something down the road.

I just ran a FF mock and the AI took Dart at 1.03...WTF!?

Started one yesterday and it was a nightmare...everybody I wanted was gone at each pick and all the trade options were shit. Would have been trading down for more players I didn't want...

Only saving grace was Ewers at #126 and even that was 'Blah.'

Everyone coming out of combine arguing that it's a buyer's draft. 1st round fairly weak compared to years past, incentive to trade up not great as a ton of guys all with similar grades and many not having 1st round grades.

Think it's gonna be hard for us to trade down but not impossible, maybe not be able to get great value in trade.

But if Rams zig when others zag, worth thinking what a trade up would look like and for whom (they may be able to give up a smaller set of assets than they would in other drafts).

As it stands now, anyone you'd want to trade up for?

They are fun to use, but they really aren't any good.

I had one where QB Tyler Slough went 1.02.
Here's the thing about Dart. I feel bad for him. I don't think he's got a great chance to be a starter in this league but in a draft like this, he's absolutely gonna get overdrafted and then probably pushed into starting at some point year one and that small infinitesmal chance of him becoming a good starter in this league will go out the window.

If he could go in the 4th round to some team (not us!) that had a good offensive coach and he could sit for a year or two, that would be great. Or if Payton needed a QB, then he might have a shot.
