Commodes aren't that bad, sitting at 5-5 at this point in the season.

Now that's a backup QB
But we can't discuss one without the other?

If someone wants to talk about the best defenses of all time you then instead want to talk about the best offenses?

We all know the offense is terrible. The scheme is flawed based on the skill set available and the fact that the unit is filled with back ups playing.

So not sure what that unit's problems have to do with the defense's inability to force a fumble or pick off a pass.

Maybe it's just me...
They feel they can take more chances on D because they have the personnel. We don't have that.

They feel they can take more chances on D because when they give up the big play they feel their offense can make up for it. We don't have that.

McVay understands that, Morris calls the defense the way his boss wants to based on the roster he built for him. Some of us understand that and cut the guy some slack instead of complain daily in any thread they decide to post in. Maybe it's just us...

So the 2000 Baltimore Ravens should have sat back in a soft zone since their offense was anemic? Really?

In fact not sure I have ever observed a team with a top level defense and a poor offense, intentionally take the aggressiveness away from their defense because their offense sucks. That is not logical. You put your best unit in position to make plays to cover for your weaker unit.

The Cowboys played with a back up QB and their defense cranked up pressure. They didn't play "bend don't break" because their offense was undermanned.

I mean what the heck are you talking about?

Letting the opposing team dominate time of possession isn't working. Our defense is allowed to pitch some 3 & outs. We are allowed to hit a QB. Heck, it might set up a score for our offense.
