It is just getting a jump on the offseason where they know Quick and Britt are gone. If they like the kid he gets signed and added to the offseason program and you see what he looks like come camp next year.

True, but we won't be bringing either Quick or Britt back either. Quick having a job in the NFL is a joke, he's gone. Britt is going to get an offer from some team that over-focuses on his 1k yards and wants to accept his inconsistencies, but the Rams won't be that team because whoever they bring in is going to get after a FA like Jeffrey and getting more return from guys like Tavon and Coop.
