Higbee adds to the dead cap number. You really want to be like the Saints? They might not be able to pay 53 guys.

Of course not. I'm being facetious, and you should know by now that I focus on the prospects, not the realism of trades or whatever dead cap there might be.

Yet you're taking prospects we can't possibly get the picks to make because of those trades :D

Can we just talk about the prospects that you like instead of silly things like salary caps or picks? I even picked entirely different prospects than my last unrealistic mock... :p

One mistake you made is trading Kendrick for a 2028 6th round pick.

It would have to be a 2027 6th round pick.

Can't go beyond current year plus 2 years.

It would be the offseason during that time, right? Didn't we already trade a 2027 seventh and another player for a 2027 sixth? That's what I was thinking. If not, we could do what you're saying.

Your trades just used up $40 million of our estimated $53 million in cap space and we can't afford any free agents and especially our draft class with all those super realistic top 100 picks you have us adding :D
The trades are very unrealistic and won't happen. I'm confused, though, at how you came up with the trades using up $40 mil. My assessment using the overthecap.com calculator is that trading those 4 players would save nearly $23 mil. in 2025 cap space. Huge amounts of dead money though.

Add in the franchise tag for Alaric Jackson and you're over $40 closer to $45 million.

Yeah, I don't see them making those trades or using the franchise tag on AJ.

I think they keep Kupp, Jonah Jackson, and Parkinson next year. And I would sign AJ to an extension versus tagging him.
