Glad to hear it. Even though I think he'd be crazy to endure this season if he didn't plan on taking advantage of the bottom of that pyramid being rebuilt next year and maybe beyond.

Also and btw... As much as I don't think the Rams have room to draft QB this year getting him a good one to learn on that depth chart would be a great assist in keeping him around.

Can't believe people have put any weight into him leaving since he got here.

Never been a doubt who our HC and GM would be since 2017.

The simple minds who fall to the Foolio reporting of the world, well here's your confirmation.

i like he said that in passing on the show and it became national news....

Makes me laugh a bit.

The grass is always greener...

McVay and the Rams are a perfect match. With this owner, this new stadium, this fertile ginormous fan base with unique mix of oldtimers and newbies, this young coach with his first HC job that can grow with all of it? He can have a family AND a Ramily, for decades.

The fact that he has to mention and say this is annoying to me honestly. I thought we were past it for at least a couple years. I guess we're permanently stuck with the annual talk about McVay.
It is but I love that JB got to put the nail in the coffin now instead of letting some clickbait whore like Mike Florio spend months putting out bullshit about "the rumors" that he mostly makes up for clicks.

Never had a doubt.
Thankfully they asked and more importantly he answered.

I agree, it was never in doubt with how this team is playing and what's in store for 2024.

I have heard interviews with people that know him well. He was him seriously considering stepping down after the last Super Bowl is what they say.
All his coaches getting picked and then having to go get a bunch late after most were all gone was a issue for him.
But its a good issue I think, we won it all.

We might have been getting past it if not for some noise from a certain individual who apparently is going to keep bringing it up til McVay actually does retire no matter how long it takes.

What noise?
Asked and answered. End.

It'll be interesting to see what he does after we win it all next year

I just hope Snead and McVay have learned something through this past season, something they might have been forced to figure out...

Bring in the right young men who have the character to be counted on and then coach them all together from the ground up...

As much as its "one week at a time", treat each season the same. Use this years success to "MODEL THE WAY" for the future seasons, even if they have cap space and high draft picks.... it's this Rams era's pathway to continued success.
