I want to smack Florio.

Can I smack Florio?

Do any of you guys have a problem if I smack Florio? I'm not looking to piss anyone off ... Except Florio.
No blue font needed. He's such a smug fuck. I'd love to see someone pound his face.

All you folks talking about Kronke letting McVay sit out a year and then come back are delusional. NOt gonna happen. Too many issues. What if the Rams go deep into the playoffs or even win a SB? You think the substitute HC will want to step down? What about th assistant coaches? Does the sub HC bring in his own guys and switch back when Sean comes back?

I can think of a dozen more reasons why Sean getting a Sabbatical from the owner just won't work.

“Stay” still leading over “go,” but it’s pretty close!

I heard that McVay is watching the results on this thread to make his final determination. Looks like he's staying for the time being,,,,,

This is a narrative that a lot of people are saying out there - It was in the LA Times and on GMFB

Message board did not come up with this - 100% this is something being discussed in the Rams facility.

If comes to pass or not we will see but it's being discussed.

It just shows how ignorant the media is nowadays. They should know better but most of them are dipshits who parrot other takes.

Great points, but McVay is worth making it work.

Changed my vote to stays. He is talking too long to quit. Other teams are looking for new coaching talent and I wouldn’t allow other teams to get an advantage like that if I’m in management.

Got a link that shows this 100%?
Can't prove anything now because its all silent mode in the rams organization right now.

But if I could bet a large chunk of money on the notion that they discussed a leave of absence.

I'd put it down without second thought.

What benefit would the Rams gain from granting a LOA?

I think he stays.

Why?

He's too much like Vermeil. Vermeil SHOULD have stayed, but when they made Martz the heir, Vermeil left so as to avoid any friction and make the change go smoothly.

McVay is the same way. If he was truly going to go, he'd already be gone. It's one thing to say to guys "hey, if you wanna find a new gig, feel free" as that may also be a way to clear out the roster of coaches without causing issues for guys getting hired since they're not technically fired and most folks looking at our situation will see our injuries first and any positional issues a very distant second if not farther down.

Also, I can't see McVay dithering on this only to leave the Rams with few options to replace him. Does anyone think the Rams wouldn't be interested in Harbaugh and/or Asshole Face not to mention DeMeco Ryans and a few other coaches if McVay left? Those guys will likely be wrapped up within the week...

So yeah, I think he stays
