I wonder if they took the wrong RB to back up Kyren. Bucky Irving learned Coen’s offense pretty quick. It took a while for Corum to earn McVay’s trust.I'm hoping he lessens the 11 personnel illusion of complexity stuff and better varies his personnel packages while focusing more on play action.
A think watching a guy like Gibbs and Barkley break long runs may have McVay hoping to find a speedier back. Late in the season defenses didn’t seem to have any fear of the Rams deep game. Kyren wasn’t going to break any long runs. Tutu wasn’t on the field much. No TEs were going to stretch the field. Defenses played a lot of man and stacked the box.
The offense was a bit static except when playing zone defenses.
