All three of my kids; son 20 yrs. and twin daughters at 18 yrs CANNOT use cursive at all. They can barely sign their name. It's like UNBELIEVEABLE!

I have to say. I got into drafting when I was really young and started writing in all block letters. Years ago I had to sign my complete name repeatedly on real estate documents. I had to practice for an hour before I could get my hand and brain to work together enough to do it. Interestingly, they no longer require that but only that you sign your name the way you normally do and that it is pretty much the same on all sections. Yep - they dumbed it down for people like me.

The signature you did on your DL is now considered your "legal" sig by all of the lending institutions I deal with. This is a big reason why they require a copy of the borrower's DL... they want the sigs to match.
