Maybe they didn't want to see the youngster get shell shocked behind that awesome Oline the Rams had on the fieldI wondered why we never kicked the tires on him? I mean, maybe they know something we don't....
Because he was such a great player that he could not stick with the Texans?? No idea why they did not try him but he could not even get off the practice squad. The only reason he went back to Houston is because they were so desperate and he was familiar with their offense.Actually a really really bad decision.
They never even let him start a couple games to see what he had and it would have cost them nothing because they lost anyway.
I just recently got to the "Pain & Guilt" stage. I've got 5 more stages of grief to go.-X- fibbing:
But we got over Thaddeus Lewis leaving to become a world beater, so we'll get over Case Keenum too.
^^^^THIS^^^^^He had zero knowledge of the system, and had zero chemistry with the receivers. Not that those things would keep him from playing if he had to. They're just kind of important tools for the QB to have if you want to run the whole system. I would have liked to have retained him until next season, but it didn't work out that way obviously. But we got over Thaddeus Lewis leaving to become a world beater, so we'll get over Case Keenum too.
No, it wasn't. He's a 3rd string QB.
The bad decision was not trying to get someone before the season after Bradford's injury with more potential than Keenum and Davis.
I see this a lot, so my question is twofold.
How do you know Snisher DIDN'T try;
And (and this really isn't solely directed to you), WHO should we have gotten? (I might give you Garrapolo instead of Joyner, but verdict's not really in yet).
And while we're at it, (again directed at everyone), WHO exactly should we get next year, (draft or FA)?
