Well, if last night’s reports and OTC are correct, the Niners traded a player for a late 5th round pick; and, actually, DECREASED their 2025 salary cap space because the Dead-$ is greater than Samuel’s 2025 cap hit.

That’s pretty cool.

They did it because their 26' cap situation was bad. This move helped that considerably
 
Now if they can just move on from Kittle so I don't have to see that Taylor Swift every time the 9ers play I will be ecstatic.

Just keeping it real. Still, they gave up a guy that many thought would be a big weapon for them for a long time. Now, if they move Aiyuik, they are almost starting from scratch at WR.

BTW, still not in great shape in 26' only 56M with only 31 players under contract...some of those might be void year guys so even less. So after they add FAs this year, draft picks etc... they will be less than 20M next year. That's why they have to dump guys this year.
