What is the new HC gonna do? Develop players, design schemes that aren't terrible, and focus on fundamentals. Things our coaching staff has generally failed to do. It's not that difficult to fix this. It just takes coaching. Unfortunately, our team looks like it had none of that this year.

We can blame coaches all we want, and they deserve a ton of blame, this team just isn't good enough talent wise though. There are some nice building blocks, so there is optimism for the future, but this team isn't good enough talent wise.
 
I'm surprised this team has four wins.

Wow - all we need to finish this season is great style is SF to stomp us again...

Sigh. Maybe I need to just accept that we are probably back at year one in a 3-4 year rebuild. Our offense needs a complete OL rebuild and at least 1-2 competent receivers. Defense has secondary and depth issues. I don't think any HC/OC can come in and just 180 this thing. Too many holes. And that's assuming we make the right HC hire.

I wonder if the Titans will do better with their trade haul than we ultimately did with the RG3 trade...
 
Blame is not on Fassel. For sure. He got thrown into a shi+ storm. It is what it is. Just keep playing...
 
The defense reminds me of my lawnmower this past summer. The throttle was broken and ran on high speed all the time. The Rams offense is like that throttle that forced the high speed. Well, it was going strong, mowing fast but eventually all that pressure of going full throttle finally caused it to blow the engine. The poor offense will always finally break the defense when it always knows one score might be enough for the other team to win. At this point I don't know what they can do outside of purging all the bad players and starting over.
