I don't believe any of it.

Shanny gains nothing by letting any of that be known. There is no way he prefers York to Kroenke. It is unlikely that he would view Goff as damaged goods based on a rookie season behind a porous OL and idiotic offensive staff with few weapons.

Conjecture plain and simple. And if there is any truth to it, then he probably does need to endure a good lesson like McDaniels, and he's gonna learn it in SF. So whatevs.

Maybe the rumors of Shanny being petulant are true. I guess we will see how his offense works without Matt Ryan and Julio Jones and Sanu.

How smart can he be anyway, if he cant even keep track of where his playbook is?

A new HC could get a lot worse than Kaepernick. Ever since the anthem protest people have been looking for any reason to put down on Kaepernick but he actually played well for most of the year. He's just on a dumpster fire of a team. Keep in mind that that dumpster fire swept us this year.

Yes and no. Kaepernick is a bottom 5 starter in the NFL. If you're comparing him to what other teams have, you can't do a lot worse than Kaepernick. If you're comparing him to what past new coaches have had, yes, you can do worse than Kaepernick.

But the 49ers aren't planning to retain him. And the idea that he actually played well for most of the year is a farce. It's people box-score scouting.

This is coming from a person who fully supported what Kaepernick was doing with his protests.(although, I don't like Kaepernick as a person)

Well well well. We finally agree on something ;) I don't think Kaep was as bad as people thought last year. For being in such a dysfunctional offense he put up decent stats. I just don't like the guy.

That's the problem with judging a player by his stats. Kaepernick was bad. He was bad enough that he lost the starting job to Blaine Gabbert, got benched for him at least once, and the 49ers want nothing to do with him starting next year.

Brian Hoyer's stats look good too. Yet, I don't see Bears fans clamoring for him to be the starter.

Lol he threw a hissy fit because we interview someone else first? Sounds like he's the whiny little baby that people reported he was

Yep, it definitely sounds like the stories that came out after he left Washington.

You compare a murder to a guy who kneeled on the national anthem.. lol that's some solid logic

Umm no. I dismissed his idea about charity work making someone a good person. I randomly chose the first douche I could think of. Charity work for pro athletes means jack shit. They're basically told to do it. And I never even mentioned anything about him kneeling. Has nothing to do with my opinion on him.

They are told to do volunteer work nobody can tell anyone where and how to spend their money. Whatever your feelings are about the guy on or off the field his charity work is legit he puts his time and money where his mouth is. His website is legit showing every dollar to the cent on where the money is going and how it's spent. The guy is involved in his community to a T and putting a convicted Murder in the same line of thinking with Kap is a disservice. You could have used a better "douche" to make that comparison against. Probably Winston and his fettish for big ass crabs

If Shanny got Butthurt because we interviewed McVay first, then the rumors on him are probably true.

Don't know but this guilt trip rhetoric on why we missed out on Shanahan being the coach is getting quite old.

I don't believe that Shanahan told anyone that he doesn't believe in Goff. How well does he know Goff? He intently would he have scouted Goff during the season? I don't think he would know enough about him to make a truly quantified evaluation.

You know who doesn't like Goff and has said as much all along? Cole. He doesn't like Goff. Seems like there is a bit of projection going on here.

The Niners love paying coaches/GMs that no longer work for them. Let's hope that trend continues after the 2017 season is over.
