I’m going to start by saying I actually pull for the Lions and like and respect a number of their players (Goff, StBrown, Hutchinson, LaPorta).
With that said I am very disappointed with how their fans treated Stafford and his family in the playoff game. And some of their “bite the kneecap” bullshit needs to be put on notice:
NFL needs to make sure they communicate any dirty or sloppy play (e.g. hurting opposing players) won’t be tolerated.

In particular Kerby Joseph’s dirty/sloppy play needs to be cleaned up. He injured 2 premium TEs within 4 weeks last year because he deliberately went for the knees AFTER having a reputation for going for receivers heads. I only played football through high school as a LB and CB but I was never taught to hit the head or go low for the knee. It was face mask or shoulder to the chest. In high school if anyone hit someone in practice at the knee they were taken to task and dismissed from the practice. Play smarter Kerby or play scared because another deliberate knee hit should cost you serious $$ and game time. BTW a real ‘ dog’ goes for the jugular not biting ankles or kneecaps.

Go Rams!!

So Kirby Joseph is a chihuahua. Maybe the Lions should promote this sign for him:

Agreed here and I blame HC Dan Campbell to some degree. I am all for being aggressive, but taking cheap shots or biting kneecaps is not my idea of idea of good football. In the end, Campbell got his just desserts by being overly aggressive., which led to the Lions blowing their opportunity to defeating the 49ers and going to the Super Bowl.

Hopefully the Rams will be ready for week 1 and run the football down their throat with the combination of Williams & Blake Corum as they watch the Michigan Alum dance in the end zone.

It wasn't just Joseph though....they hit pretty late several times that game, including Hutchison.

Dirty ass team....Campbell IMO is the new Fisher, and much like Fisher, he will experience success early on and then fade and be a completely mediocre coach who that sad franchise will have to fire.

They went from a team I rooted for to a team I will root against weekly (unless they are playing the Niners)

Yeah. Detroit’s dirty tactics put them high on my list of disliked teams.

1. Patriots. Cheated us out of two Super Bowl wins. Enough said.

2. Seahawks. I know that I am in the minority on this forum, but I’ve always disliked them more than the Whiners.

3. Lions. See above.

I appreciate that so many Lions fans were with us on our Super Bowl run. And I don't hold the way they treated Stafford against them, as he was no longer their QB.

But that said it didn't take long for me to eat through any good vibes with them in that playoff game. They're a conference rival now. We're gonna need to beat them in the playoffs potentially. Both teams are contenders I think. So fuck Detroit.

The Lions are a dirty team under Campbell.
I fully expect them to cheap shot Stafford....now, it wasn't called in the playoffs, probably will be on Sunday night.
Lion fans are feeling destined this year and why not?
I have the Rams as a playoff team this year despite all the youth and loss of Donald and now Jones, but, I think this is a tough, physical game that ends in a close loss.

Detroit needs some Apollo Creed treatment...

And if that's to harsh, I'm ok with some Will Smith action...
