He's a name guy...thought people would be interested, more people are going to see a thread with the name in it than the sticky up top.

You did right, man. That sticky was just to talk about FA's guys wanted. This has a direct link to the Rams as an option.

If we sign one of these guys, there's no doubt Watkins will not be our pick.

It's almost down to Mathews and Robinson.
 
I'd be good with this for a few reasons.

1. Fisher drafted him
2. Cheap contract
3. His best play happened under Fisher.
4. He's still young, actually in his prime.
5. There is a high chance Watkins won't be a Ram, may as well kick the tired on a guy like Britt.
6. He could be our Mark Clayton
7. If he outplays Quick then that's icing on the cake.

I was hoping for this. Sign a veteran receiver, that's what we need. I have the same questions about him as everyone else, but he is a good player when healthy.
