The only thing Williams and Gurley have in common is they are elite. Gurley was a tall long strider with a good burst. Williams is 195 pound compact violent runner who punishes DB's with his short burst and no mercy attitude. Gurley also had godlike top end speed which Williams does not.

Both are great RB's but completely different in their personal attributes.

I loath talk sports shows today.

Good analysis, funny what she said about the Browns at the end lol

Agreed. Similar in results only. But in terms of importance to the team, she's right, a great run game like we have now & like we had in the top Gurley years will keep D's honest. Along with a good passing game, we're ready to make a playoff push.

Kyren is ballin his butt off but only on the stat sheet would you compare him to TG. Gurley was one of those guys where you hold your breath when he gets loose cuz it might be 6. His decline was sad cuz he could’ve been up there with Eric & Marshall among rams all timers.

Rams need to keep drafting RB’s. When you hit on one you run him into the ground and then move on to the next.

First time I've watched her since she left Good Morning and I'm struggling with this format.... is she talking to other people or not? I kept waiting for the camera to switch to someone else as she sat there and seemingly had a conversation with other people but they never actually respond or show up. Like a weird one way conversation she's having in a mirror.

Anyway, I get what she's saying in the comparison to how much better our offense is with a weapon at RB. Something we've all known for years. Hopefully Kyren can stay healthy.

Gurley much faster and bigger than Kyren.

Both have power and receiving in common - but I've never seen Kyren catch a pass down the field yet like Gurley did sometimes.

They are different but do have some similarities.

I'm always willing to give content providers a watch or two to see how they do on their own once they leave the media outlets. I think she's doing a good job. She has a solid grasp of the game and looks great talking it, and she's done interviews and whatnot too. I mean compare here to say Senior ESPN Analyst Mina Kimes and the difference in quality is pretty clear. To me at least.

What football talk? I just watch it for her hair. I agree, it's like she's talking to herself, in a mirror, in a self affirmation type of way.

Not a perfect analogy but it's like comparing Dickerson to Greg Bell. Bell was solid, scored over 30 TDs in two-season post-Dickerson but no one will confuse them even though Bell's production was pretty good.

You could win with Bell. You can win with Williams.

Gurley (when healthy) and Dickerson were elite and were threats to be Offensive Player of the Year.

The statistical results are very similar. She didn’t exactly compare the individual skill sets. She presented it saying the Rams were most dangerous when they successfully ran the ball with Gurley, and now we are seeing it again with Kyren. Maybe they will make a run.
