Who is the Bengal backup?
Jake Browning, admittingly I’ve never heard of him before.

We may get lucky because we are in the NFC and the game is no as crucial as some future Bengal games.

Let's hope this could be huge for us.

This game won't be easy with the Bengals 0-2 playing at home. Even if Burrow ain't 100, it's a tough one because 0-3 ain't a pretty start in that division. They gonna come hard and the Rams gotta be ready!!!

I think the decision to play, (or not play), Burrow will say a lot about Taylor's job security. Starting 0-3 is almost a certainty that they wont make the playoffs. Only 1 team out of last 99 (since 2002 *thanks ESPN*) has made the playoffs after starting 0-3. So if ZT is on the hot seat, it wouldn't surprise me that he rushes Burrow back. Conversely, if he feels impunity, he can give #9 all the time he needs

Zac Taylor. O'Connell is with the Vikings.

If his job is at risk due to a QB injury after turning that shithole of a franchise around, they deserve everything they get.

If he has a 5-12 type season, wouldnt surprise me

I’m not saying they wouldn’t, I’m saying they’d be idiots.

Imagine if the Rams fired McVay for a 5-12 season. McVay is 1-1 in Superbowls.

Taylor is 0-1. He has the talent to get them there again. They should be patient.

Difference is that McVay only had the 1 losing season, Taylor also had a 2 and 4 win season.
Alas... Its a big game for the Bengals, just about a proverbial "must win"

Bengals will sit Joe. It's still early in the season and the guy isn't right. If they play him they're stupid.
He’s already had 2 subpar games. One would have to think he’s not healthy.

I agree.
They need to get him healthy.
