Harbaugh would go back to the NFL, imo. He doesn't have to recruit there. He is very competitive with his brother and wants to win more Super bowls than he has.

I agree he will go back, but not yet, he won't leave the Maze & Blue yet, maybe in a couple of years and after one National Championship, but not this soon.

I think he would jump at the chance to return to the NFL. He thinks he is too big for college football.

Okay we will agree to disagree, but I don't think he would jump back this quick and leave his alma mater high and dry, he will be at Michigan for another two years, then he will be ready IMHO.

However, as much as I want the Rams to hire David Shaw, Harbaugh would always be my first choice, it's just too soon IMO.

So here's the problem with Jimmy. He didn't want to bend to the will of the 49er owners. What makes you think he will for Kroenke?

He's a great freakin' coach, though.

Our owner let's the man in charge run the team, if Kroenke gives the same power he gave to Fisher to Harbaugh, we would be a powerhouse.

Stanley Kroenke is richer than all the colleges in Michigan combined. Surely they could get a deal going. Harbaugh could develop a top rank tier team.
This is what you don't understand its Harbaughs ' dream' job. He was the QB for Michigan way back when and he is real close with Wolverine coaching legends like the Great Bo Schebechler, Lloyd Carr etc. you don't realize it has nothing to do with money, he's comfortable plus he already gets paid 7 million a year. Yeah he's not going anywhere.

Go Blue!

Agree 100%.
Harbaugh is going no where. He's already where he wants to be like how Nick Saban is comfortable.

I don't know why he would take it. He's building a great program and will have job security while being able to make all the decisions at Michigan. I would go for his successor at Stanford, David Shaw.

He would consider the Rams job.

Harbaugh knows that Fish just got five years while Kroenke honored the contract he signed with him AND did not meddle with the product on the field in spite of five straight years of losing seasons. The Rams right now with Stan Kroenke are the best job in the NFL and yes Harbaugh would feel like he could do his thing without the drama BS he suffered in SF.

IMO he fits the profile of what Stan wants as a head coach, i.e. someone with experience. Whether Stan would throw money and go out of his way to get him out of Michigan is another matter, not sure about that. But yeah, bringing him in would be a stroke of brilliance.

When Indianapolis fires Pagano, they will get Harbaugh to coach his boy Luck
