If you look carefully at this photo of the team lifting up Coach Gilliam, you can tell how much Bigger Lipscomb was than his team mates!!

One of the greatest to ever play offensive tackle. 7x Pro Bowler, NFL record 20 seasons with one team, blocked for seven different 1,000 yard rushers, Inducted into the Hall Of Fame and RAMS Ring of Fame in 2001. Such a great career I just had to repeat it DaveFan'51:)

Actually 'Big Daddy' Lipscomb started with the Rams then went on to The Colts, and then Steelers! Just to be accurate!

I don't know weather I should call a 'foul' on this or cheating or just say OK! you got me! I can't find an individual photo of Winkler! YOU KNOW BEING PART OF THE '51 TEAM I WOULD HAVE PUT HIM IN. Had I found one!!(y):D( a lot of the should probably been in Blue Font, T-REX!)

It's not the nature of the game for O-Lineman to get much credit! At least not back before the NFL top 100 list and PFF!

he went to 1 Pro Bowl with the Rams, played in 42 games, and only had 4 FR's and in 2 post season games only had 1 sack ..

He does get enough credit! He too belong at the top of the "Stats Don't mean Squat List!"
But then maybe we should Blame Coach George Allen for that, he had a habit of picking Older players from other Teams! Brown had 5 Pro Bowls and 2 All pro season w/ the Lions before Allen Grabbed him up!
OH! How Long was Grier w/the Giants before he came here!?

You won't find a #78 on the current roster. Big Jackie Slater's number was rightfully retired, one of 3 numbers in the "70's". The other 2? Anybody guess, off the top of their head?...
