Yeah but do you know of such a team? I’m sure there’s one. I should know this…..
Think Winnie The Pooh GIF

The Oilers, right?

I have to agree with the other analysts over Kiper. The Saints are pot committed to Carr. In 2026, he represents a $69M cap hit. Very difficult to envision the Saints drafting a #1 QB who may sit for a few years.

I could see Dart going to another QB needy team within the top 15, but not to NO.
Carr is only under contract in NO for 25&26. They could easily draft a qb to ride pine for a year and move on from Carr. Not sure what they think of Spencer rattler though.

Granted coach gm speak etc but I read multiple reports that they're pleased with what the saw from him.

Rattler was playing for an interim HC, without any of the top wideouts, RBs and a backup o-line and I thought he played admirably

If he’s there at 26 shit would sure get interesting. Phones would be buzzing. Les would be asking for at least a 6th round pick :)

We might finally get more than the trade value chart!

I like him but he’s going to get overdrafted probably by a bad team. The irony is he needs to play in a good team like ours to succeed

Nate Tice brought up a good point about Dart. He said there are certain plays that Kiffin called several times a game. Dart would hit his first read a few times but by the second half, when the defense adjusted and took that read away, Dart really struggled. One play in particular they'd run about five times a game, every game. How many times would it take for Dart to master that play and be able to hit his second or third reads? He couldn't do it. I wouldn't be too excited if Dart was the Rams first pick.

It's funny. I would be very excited. But not from any insight on the player. Moreso that the Rams invested in a QB in the 1st round. I would hope for the best and that they knew what they were doing. I really want to see the Rams grab a QB that has a chance to ACTUALLY learn from a heady QB like Stafford. I especially hope that they can get one this year so that hopefully he has 2 years to grow before being relied upon. That said, it doesn't have to be Dart. Just someone they feel confident they can build around.

I wouldn’t mind them picking a QB, even in round one. I just don’t think Dart is worth it. I don’t think any of them, outside of Ward, in this draft has a high chance of success. So as I stated elsewhere, if they do pick one, they should swing for the fences and go after the one with the highest ceiling, which imo is Milroe.

I think they have next years crop of QBs is better than this year, and that Stafford will be around for at least three years.

I definitely don’t have blind faith in any coaching staffs or GMs, though. They all make their fair share of mistakes. I have disliked many of Snead’s past drafts and a few of McVay’s player decision over the years.

Dart's probably my favorite quarterback in this class, not counting Ward, who obviously isn't going to fall anywhere near us. Quite frankly, I wouldn't have a problem with him at #26; he reminds me a bit of Baker Mayfield. The question is if he lasts that long.

Either way, wouldn't have a problem if McVay decides he's our franchise quarterback of the future; you'll know he scouted him out extensively and can help him attain that peak.
