Not surprising, really wasn't a whole lot of options for Ramsey or the Dolphins since neither seemed interested in taking pay cuts or eating additional cap. Ramsey isn't someone who can cover the elite one on one anymore but stick him on a defense that has top tier pass rushers and he'll fit in nicely. If Aaron Rodgers can muster up a whole season worth of play and keep his diva tendencies under control they might be dangerous. Big if though.

From what I just read on ESPN, Steelers already have their outside CB's
And that Ramsey may be playing slot CB or Safety
Rod Wodson 2.0 ?

As I have stated many times, if you watch the play on the ALL 22, you see Ramsey fall after AD had grabbed the QB. It looked like Ramsey was celebrating by jumping in the air and tripped and fell.

But if Burrow had gotten free, then yeah it would have been really stupid.

But then again, I rarely saw a QB get free after AD got a hold of them. Ramsey was probably thinking that too.
I look at that play at the end of this video and I don't see him in celebratory jump mode. I see him crapping his pants and falling on his face when he realizes he's beaten for what could have been the TD that lost the Super Bowl.

I have to agree.

The ball is snapped inside the Rams' 49; and Donald is on Burrow almost immediately, making contact before the receiver even gets ten yards to the Rams' 40. Ramsey falls a fraction of a second later (at the 33).

If LG Quinton Spain had just slowed-down Donald for a fraction of a second, preventing him from getting to Burrow almost immediately, it looks like an easy pitch-and-catch TD.

It actually reminds me of the brain fart by Limmer and Dotson in failing to just stand in front of Jalen Carter and got steam-rolled. A fraction of a second might have been enough for Stafford to connect with a breaking-wide-open Higbee that could have put the Rams in the Conference Championship.

I would only play Ramsey in the slot. He's a liability if he draws real speed out there on an island.

Play him inside and it is easier to get him help if he has a tough draw. Also he is like an ILB in his tackling. Box upgrade. So I'd imagine that is where Tomlin plays him.

Donald has him and Ramsey falls after when he looks back to see Donald has him.

As you can see - Ramsey is basically attached to Chase at that point.

Then he stumbles after he sees Donald has Burrow. I guess he didn't jump in the air. But he did stumble after he looked back.

I think he was going to celebrate and fell.
