Here's where I'm at. Rams are a super bowl contender, and in my weak and biased opinion, the favorite. Ramsey should improve the Rams chances of winning the Super Bowl this coming season.

Rams have only won 2 Super Bowls, out of what 50 seasons? It don't happen that often.

So, I look at it as we're only 10-15 million away from winning a Super Bowl, so let's go for it. Go get Ramsey and win it all...it's worth it!

his salary is 1.25....

but isn't there a bonus or something else that makes it over 20 mill?

Interesting. The Rams showed their hand a little by pursuing Ramsey. Do they feel okay with this secondary to the point that they will forgo Ramsey and any alternatives, or do they want to find a different corner to invest in?

No to a 2nd or 3rd rounder. No to Fins not covering a decent chunk of his guaranteed salary for 2025. He’s a physical experienced CB but no longer elite.

no to ANY kind of draft comp above a 5th rnd...

There is now way we should give them anything over a 4th. We simply cannot give them equal compensation that they sent to us for a 3 year older CB who gets paid. 5th and Kendrick and call it a day.

That is the million dollar question that I haven’t seen anyone clarify. The flip flopping on this forum regarding his total cost in 2025 from a straight up trade is interesting but confusing. Can anyone clearly state what Rams would pay for Ramsey in 2025 for a straight up trade (salary, bonus, incentives, lottery tickets, Dunkin Donut/Golden Corral gift cards, Food Lion coupons, etc).

It is all over this thread, but some people confuse the issue. This is NOT cap hit for the Dolphins or acquiring team, just cash due for the 2025 season. Two components: salary and bonus. Both fully guaranteed.

the salary is $1.255M and the bonus is $19M due week 1. any team acquiring Ramsey before week 1 would be obligated for both unless arrangements are made otherwise.

Yup, I dont know how there can be any confusion, like you said it's been repeated several times.
What is complicated is how the option bonus, and contract structure determine the cap hit in 2025
