I'll also say this. I'm seeing from Falcons fans that Kyle Pitts is apparently not happy in Atlanta and Atlanta is not happy with him. That's a guy I'd pursue. If you make an effort to scheme to his strengths, the guy is a monster. I'm talking a guy who has the potential to be a mismatch on par with prime Jimmy Graham. Unstoppable in the red zone. Adding him as a WR/TE hybrid would make our offense scary, and he's on a rookie contract for this year and next, with a fifth-year option.

That's silly. That same "lack of explosiveness" is why Puka is a Ram
No comparison.

Puca is faster and bigger.. and his RAS is much better.
Kyren is too small AND too slow.
He's a decent player.. no one is saying he's not. But he is not a guy who can put real pressure on a defense, especially on the edges.

If he is affordable, I am all for providing Matthew with as many weapons as he can use. We got a little show of the Comeback Maestro today. Hopefully, we will be seeing more in tough games moving forward.

I would tend to stay away from guys who aren’t happy. First off be thankful your making millions regardless of what team your with, you play your best. Attitude and work ethics go a long way. I am honestly happy with our RBs right now they will get better.

I'd do it. Pitts is an elite tight end.

Imagine Pitts, Taylor, Kupp, Nacua, and Atwell in this offense. Oh my.

Can Pitts block? I'm old-school, but have 0 interest in TEs that are strictly useful as receivers.

The key is that Pitts would be a complete mismatch for opposing defenses. He's already been a mismatch with Atlanta, and they've sucked. Imagine what he could do for us.

Well, I don't think we could get both Pitts and Taylor. It would have to be one or the other. ;)

It's not why you'd bring him in. Can he block? Yes. Is it a strength? No. He's more an oversized WR (6'6" 250 with 4.4 speed and vacuum cleaner hands).

I've been watching his post game analysis since the SB season but I just now had to turn it off. It's become way too annoying with all the cha-ching going on interrupting him talking and having to thank each person... it's like listening to a scratched CD. Too much bling for me now. Rather tune in to Downton Rams... way less interrupted talk time. :dizzy::explode1:

Jake said he didn't get this information from anyone, he was just reading the tealeaves. I respect that because he said that several times, he just believes the Rams are going to make the deal, even though Jake believes they should not and get an edge rusher instead.
Is there any edge rushers available? Hoecht keeps getting better. So does Young. With the interior pressure it wouldn’t be worth adding a mediocre edge.
I'll say this, if we did make a move for Taylor, I'd understand why. Kyren is a solid HB, but he's just not fast. There were multiple plays today where an explosive HB had a chance to house it. For Williams, they ended up being 6-15 yard gains. That all said, do not trade a first round pick for Taylor.
What would you give up for Taylor? With no original bites when Taylor first came available and the rift between JT and the Colts, shouldn’t the asking price be lower by now?

What do you hear it is? Is he impatient with the development of the offense and Ridder? I am a huge fan of Pitts, he is an athletic mismatch at that position but he hasn't quite broken out like I had thought he would albeit that team is in transition hence the reason they were able to draft him in the first place. With other needs and the Higz news we likely aren't looking his way?

I'd say a 3rd this year plus a performance-based pick next year. Basically, a 2024 3rd and a 2025 4th that can become a 3rd if Taylor rushes for 1000 yards in either year or a 2nd if he makes an All Pro team.

Doesn't sound like Taylor is going anywhere now. As far as we're concerned I think its for the best. Kyren and Rivers can shoulder the load. They don't have the breakaway ability but they can get the tough yards and leave more 3rd and manageable situations. Kyren sure has a nose for the endzone.
