Hackett, the Jaguars’ quarterbacks coach in 2015 and 2016, took over as offensive coordinator with nine games remaining in the 2016 season.

The Jaguars, after finishing sixth in total offense and first in rushing offense in 2017 – Hackett’s first full season as coordinator – rank 21st in in the total offense and 15th in rushing offense this season.

As I mentioned in the gdt, who in their right mind takes the Jax OC job? If the FO pushes for playing Bortles you’re committing career suicide.

Yeah, give the guy Bortles and an oft injured Fourtnette and you'll look bad. Jaguars need to go all in on a QB in the offseason no matter the cost. They're just treading water until then.

Other than Fournette, they need to make a bunch of changes with their offense.

McVay would have Bortles at a Pro Bowl level in no time.

Watching the painfully predictable Fisher like Jag offense is sleep inducing.
