I don't normally care that much about rival FA moves, but if the Cards get AD too that's a scary ass team.

Hope they overpaid.

They are in the same boat as us as far as QB.

Figured he'd stay on the West Coast.

Maybe it's just me, but it always seems that Brockers does a pretty good job vs. Iupati.

Fûck me.... I really wanted him. Well I'm sure we'll find a over the hill money pit somewhere to get injured.

I'm not. I feel their team overachieved a lot last year re:their D. Offensively, I'd obviously expect a better result with Palmer/Stanton playing more, but I don't think there is any way their D can perform like it did.

Idk why everyone hypes him up so much. Has knee issues, is turning 28, bad in pass pro, and expensive. No thanks, but AZ can overpay.

Last I checked Iupati sucked at trying to block Donald last year. Oh wait, that's not fair... NOBODY could block Donald last year :sneaky:

I wish I had your optimism, Cards were the only NFC West team that really had our number last year.

We'll probably end up injuring another one of their QBs. Iupati is a phenomenal run blocker but suspect at pass protection.

This is great news! I had an overwhelming feeling that Iupati would be one of the FA busts in a couple years. Glad to see he'll hurt a rival. Hopefully they're paying him what he wanted...$8.5 million a year. Overrated big named player that's flawed in pass protection and got more and more nicked up as he neared FA...no me gusta.

The future OLG for the Cards was the The No. 7 pick of the 2013 draft, Jonathan Cooper. Too bad this OG has Bust stamped all over him. He has only seen action in 10 games in 2 seasons. Cards signed Cooper to a contract Total Value: $14,549,000 (avg. $3,637,250/year; $14,549,000 fully guaranteed)9th highest of 25 LG contracts. if the cards cut Cooper they will have close to 6 million in dead $$$ in 2015 cap hit.

Great news for the Rams & look of bleakness future of the Cards....This signing is sure to be no bargain for them.
