September is National suicide prevention month something that is near and dear to my heart. Never be afraid to ask for help if you need it. I’ll be making a donation to an organization I have a great deal of respect for https://stopsoldiersuicide.org/

Mods feel free to move this thread to off topic. Just wanted to make sure anyone that might need to see this does.

Share this on a Jags or Lions board. We are good here...Hopefully.

Just kidding.

It's a good message. Have seen to many teen suicides in our community in the last ten yrs and kids from what would appear to be great families.

I wonder why they require your name and zip code to ask about services? Seems like an obstacle that will prevent any contact by some, when they just want to "talk" with someone. There comes a time when talking is over and decisions are made that can't be taken back.

Is that why they're legalizing weed?

I thought it was because enough people finally realized that keeping it illegal, waging a war on it, dumping billions into a losing strategy and locking up more of our population than any other country on Earth for smoking a plant was a really bad idea. Basically like prohibition was a bad idea the first time and an even worse idea the this time? Just my take.
Good post btw @NJRamsFan
It's an important message to me also.

I think many have already misunderstood @NJRamsFan point. This is a serious issue and affects everyone and their loved ones. Look at a stranger today and ask what kind of war is going on inside their head?

The answer is, we don't know. But somebody out there loves this person very much. This stranger may suffer from suicidal thoughts caused by depression, drugs, alcohol, lack of proper medication, financial concerns, stress, etc.

There is help available through the National Suicide Prevention hotline. They will listen to you and provide or refer you to the care you deserve.
