Is it possible that Malaysia plane was stolen?

I'm not trying to diminish what they did or anything, but I'd hardly say they were alone. Bunch of operators around them, I know that's where I'd want to be. Just an unlucky mortar hit. People can make whatever claim they want, but I'd hardly say they were simply hung out to dry. The firefight was only a few minutes long against the annex after they arrived, not enough time to spin up (another) QRF or anything. There's lots of things I believe could have been done better from a tactical and SOP standpoint, but there's things you can't really account for. Getting hit by a mortar while in your outpost is one of them. The alternative would have been to extract everyone in the first place instead of attempt to retake the embassy, and having served with those types of men, that wasn't an option they were thinking about. Having more men on the ground or birds in the air wouldn't have done anything. It was quite unfortunate, but it's something that's a reality in those situations. It was tough for many of us to grasp when we deployed, when a friend went down and there wasn't anything you could do, it's always easy to pick out things you could have done, go left instead of right, stop 20 feet before, etc, but in the end it doesn't do much for you. From a tactical standpoint there wasn't much else to be done. Monday morning quarterbacking doesn't do anything.

I know when the shit hits the fan things can go awry in a hurry but the reason I say they were left to fend for themselves is because that is the word I get from someone who was in the loop that night from the Pentagon. And I know they essentially are on the sidelines but they are usually playing the role of the coach not the quarterback. But I guess we Americans need to see one of our own drug down the streets from time to time to remind us how much we are hated in that part of the world.

I just hate the spin we get from our governmental talking heads in the aftermath as to what really went down and why. I feel very sorry for those who lost their lives that night and for those on the missing flight because if they are still alive it probably isn't for long.

12 Chinese weapons experts on board I heard from somewhere but don't know if that means anything.
It could mean a hell of a lot if they were giving advice on sold technology for nukes to Iran or some other "blossoming" nuclear threat, in that case it could even be Mossad who hijacked the plane.
I think the first inclination is to think Muslim extremist, but there are a lot of things going down in this world they have little or nothing to do with.
The Chinese and Russians have been cooperating of late but I just think they are foolish to think they can trust one another.

Knowing that the C IA was probably running operarions, I expected them to keep some things in the dark. Especially right after when they were probably making sure that covers weren't blown. With today's political culture it's not shocking they're trying to keep things from us. One side is always trying to "get" the other, even to the point they make up scandals about each other. It's probably our reality now until people in government can remember who they're supposed to serve. With everyone bought out, nobody wants to buck the system. The people are left in the dark getting bent over. It's a shame, I like most, hate it, but I don't know if it's going to change.

It could be as simple as an electrical issue that was caused by a fire from the batteries in the freight department. I have not idea, but it does look very suspicious. This could be the Titanic of the 21st Century. In which case, most of us will never know what happened because we will all be dead by the time the wreckage if found. Not trying to depress you, just trying to be realistic.

I don't think the fire would spread fast enough to knock out communications before pilots were aware of it.

Maybe they should get some NASCAR spotters to look for it. They are pretty good at spotting debris on the track with 3 laps to go and the leader in front by a few seconds.

Malaysia; "We can't find anything. So... it crashed in the southern Indian Ocean. Thank you. Have a nice day."

What the hell is that about?

Yo Malaysia; I found an unidentified object floating in my toilet bowl! It's your investigation skills!

That's what I was thinking. We can't find anything so here's our official story pending some other country spending all their resources to find our plane. Bet their security is top notch as well.

The US government took this plane with new technology. They have a really sinister plan in place. :sneaky::whistle:

As someone who has actually sailed across one of the big oceans, it is quite common to run across big piles of junk.

This sums it up nicely...

I cannot imagine the anguish these families must be facing. The daily reports must continuously open their wounds anew.

And the more they say they know without proof leaves more room for speculation.
One of the details I got off a news report, China's one child policy meant if your child was on that plane it was your only child.
