Mr. Olajiga is a beast. He is #68 on defense in the clip.

Short version of the clips - he throws 270 - 310? lb guys around easily.

One of the Rams UDFA from Central Missouri ?

DT - 6'3" / 320 lbs

Showed some stuff at his pro day. [www.instagram.com]

Measured 6'3", 319 lbs.

Former UCM All-American DT David Olajiga opened some eyes with his performance @ the Mizzou Football NFL Pro Day when he displayed a rare combination of size & explosiveness

Compared to DL weighing 310+ pounds at the #NFL Combine David’s marks rank;

-vertical jump = #1 (3.5” higher than #2)
-forty yard dash = #1 (.04 faster than #2)
-bench press = #2

…and he’d hit 38 reps during prep phase, if not for the fatigue from the condensed pro day schedule he likely holds the #1 mark there as well for the

Idk we’ll see. Being strong isn’t the only requirement to be in the nfl. Looks like a body builder who is athletic.

It would be great if he pans out at training camp.

It just occurred to me that with a new DC and DLine coach, things could get very interesting on cut down day.

Hopefully Bobby Brown keeps his nose clean and has a strong contract year performance. And hopefully Desjuan Johnson has bulked up. High motor types like Davis and Fiske could help push them both.

Really like how Desjuan Johnson developed last year.....really expecting a good season from him as part of a much deeper (albeit lighter at the top) DL rotation.

Olajiga's one of three intriguing defensive linemen we picked up in undrafted free agency. Tuli Letuligasenoa got Washington's award for the best DL in their school three times in a row. I'd love to see him add weight, but he really gives me Greg Gaines vibes with his size and speciality (run-stuffer and proud of it). Anthony Goodlow had great production in his freshman and sophomore years (ten combined sacks), but tapered off in his junior and senior years (five combined sacks). He's worth a shot to see if he can recapture that production.

I love what we're doing in UDFA...except getting a running back. I'm very nervous about Rivers and Evans behind K-Will and Corum, and I'd prefer to add someone.
Not joking.

So you want him to be far over 320 lbs.? He's already 319 with the added weight.

Bodybuilders do not great football players make.....just as sprinters do not make great WRs.
Would be interesting to know what his body fat % is.

I understand the perspective.. but I’m not sure how much it really applies to today’s NFL.

If hes carrying too much muscle and is stiff as a result.. that’s one thing.

But diet and exercise science have come so far and we’re seeing more and more lean-muscle guys.

Didn’t hurt AD.

Let me tell you, it takes a strong ass man like powerlifter to lift that kind of weight not some punk ass bodybuilder.

Yeah, true.
Powerlifting certainly should have more application to sport.....plus, you don't have to use spray on tan.
