I'm one...beliefs mostly not necessarily morals. Don't get offended when people eat it around me, not an activist either.

Just curious has anyone considered becoming one or already are?

Is bacon a vegetable? If so, yes, I am a vegetarian. :heh:

My wife is slowly becoming on. She doesnt eat beef or pork now. Mainly fish and poultry, but she has been eating less and less of those I have noticed.

When I travel I usually eat vegetarian, especially in less developed places. Otherwise I'm not one... Probably 60% of my meals are vegetarian meals though, but that's not because I have a specific plan in place, a lot of times that's just how it turns out.

My wife says she's a meat eating vegetarian. HEY! Stop it. Seriously though, she is allergic to dairy and eggs.

We actually offer a Portabella burger that is just a huge mushroom cap grilled like a burger, seasoned and served on a bun with the usual burger toppings. We have Veganaise for the truly vegans out there. To be honest - I'm far from a vegetarian but that burger is awesome. I eat them at least once a week. If you like mushrooms, you will dig that simple samich.

Portabella burgers are the shit. When cooked right (and I know you do), it's quite 'meaty.'

Not even close here but there is a buffet in town that serves some mean veggies. I've almost, ALMOST, gone there and just ate cabbage, collard greens, stewed tomatoes and okra over rice as a meal but they had shrimp, fish, steak, and pork chops too so.............. And I'm with Sum, BACON IS DA BOMB!!!!!!!! I've got nothing against those that choose that lifestyle but if everyone did it, where would we put all these animals????????????

I'm thinking about it, I have a few friends that turned and I guess I've been hanging out with them too much :heh:

Mrs. HNB is a pescetarian -- no red or white meat, but she still eats fish & seafood.

I, on the other hand, enjoy steak & all forms of pork too much to ever consider the change.

See that's another misconception they just don't eat vegetables and tofu crap. I eat all the stuff you guys do, just w/o the meat.

I'm not one of those hippie "meat is murder" types.

Remember what Denis Leary said

"If god didn't want us to eat animals why did he make them out of meat"

True humans are designed for that...hell that was their sole food source. But through the uniqueness of humanity some have chosen to not eat.

There is a balance of course. It's less than a shitload though CGI. Just sayin......
